Located the in the building that connects the new Human Ecology Building with Martha Van Rensselaer Hall, the Cornell University’s College of Human Ecology requested a communal space that encouraged interaction and fostered a sense of community between students, faculty and staff. The senior studio was broken up into teams to work on it, and work was continued by selected students over the summer until the final design emerged. The completed space was opened in October 2011.
