I apologize for not posting for such a long time. It's been busy here, you know the typical excuse.

Anyways, to catch anyone up as quickly as possible. I went skiing in Breckenridge during Spring Break, and I got incredibly sun and windburned. The just opened up the highest lift in north america on peak 7 there, and I blame that for the horrible condition of my face.

I had a great time with my family, and I got to play with my 11 month old neice. She just started walking today. One of the images above is of my parents new house in Breckenridge. It's absolutely amazing. The photos can't really do it justice. I have begun to experiment with HDR panoramic photography, and needless to say, it's a very tedious and rough process that I have yet to refine... Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I'm still working on the aquatic center project, and here are a few images I showed at the midterm review two weeks ago:

It didn't go as well as I thought it would. The visiting architects had nothing to say about my project, and they weren't really helpful at all. I would love comments about the images of the project, even if they don't have an accompanying explanation.

Since then I have been playing around with our new laster cutter, and I made some interesting stuff. I will load photos tomorrow or the next day, but I started experimenting with unfolding 3d geometry and printing foldable templates with dotted lines along the fold lines... I made an icosahedron, a dodecahedron, and a soccerball, and a really awesome spiral, with poster board. I also made a wireframe version of a dodecahedron that is worth checking out when I get a photo of it up here...

In the mean time, feel free to check out my ENDS 170 blog. I posted up a great photo I took of Zaha last year during the presentation of the Mies Van Der Rohe Prize in Barcelona. Granted, I won't be receiving the Pullitzer for this photo, it's one of my favorites.
