About 

I have spent the last nine years at a firm that exposed me to a lot of different project types and sizes. From coffee kiosks, to multifamily housing, to office remodels, to large scale shopping centers. Moving forward, I would like to be more involved in the front end design phase of projects, and continue getting more proficient at CA organization and tasks. In my education, PSU gave me a wide range of experiences through the rich curriculum, as well as through my involvement with the AIAS. I also gained a lot of experience through my years in the military, and in working in avionics after receiving my Associates degree in Washington. As student IDP Coordinator the last two years at PSU, this position required knowledge of IDP, NAAB, NCARB, Paths to Licensure, and the ARE exam process. My current goals include finding a new position with local architectural firm, and gaining as much experience as possible and finish my path to licensure. My journey has driven me to become very interested in the areas of Adaptive Reuse, Socially Responsible Architecture, and the role of the Architect in the psychology and science of building communities, and city planning.

As part of the stocking team received inventory from stockroom and placed product on shelves in accordance to company established display standards. As part of Instock team, responsible for back stocking overstock and transition merchandise in back room into the electronic inventory control system using a PDA, also responsible for pulling merchandise to the sales floor using the same system. Use of technical manuals for testing/repair/calibration adhering to company and FAA regulations. Keep track of manhours and replacement component price for customer use. Strict adherence to documentation policies to insure trackability of replacement parts and repair done on equipment. Adhere to company 6S organization standards. Work with other employees to continually refine and improve processes and practices to make the working environment as smooth running as possible, as well as improve quality of support to customers.

US Army, Apache Attack Helicopter Systems Repairer

Diagnosed and repaired the electrical and optical systems for the Apache Attack Helicopter, as well as worked on electronic boxes from various other military vehicles. As well as electronics, received training in leadership, land navigation, weapons and soldier skills. Received electronics training, and certification as a multi-layer solderer from the ARMY Ordnance Munitions and Electronic Maintenance School located in Redstone Arsenal, near Huntsville Alabama.
